Today, YOU can make twice the impact on our precious native wildlife!
Taronga's Wildlife Hospitals have always been the first responders to wildlife crises, and the last line of defence to rehabilitate and release native animals back into the wild.
From critical care and lifesaving surgeries to providing each animal with the special nutrition they need, your support can truly make an incredible impact on our beloved wildlife.

Baby Loggerhead Turtle
This beautiful Loggerhead Turtle was washed ashore as a hatchling, weighing only 110 grams. He was named 'BB', short for Bulwal Bilima, which means strong turtle in Yuin country. After ten months of critical care and rehabilitation, this Loggerhead Turtle was released from Lord Howe Island earlier this year. Adding up the total costs of care, BB required more than $17,500 of funding, and he is just one of the 1,500 sick or injured animals Taronga's Wildlife Hospitals treat each year.
"It’s our duty to help. We never turn native wildlife away. Roughly 1,500 sick and injured animals per year come through our doors. We never know what's going to happen from one day to the next, which is very, very challenging."
